MND and Me Foundation

On behalf of AI, the Brisbane team attended the MND and Me Corporate Swim. The MND and Me Foundation is a not for profit that was established to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and its impact on the community. Not only did AI contribute through a sponsorship, team member Tristan Irwin represent AI in the 50m corporate race and did an amazing job!

On Friday 28th February 2014 the Brisbane AI team attended the MND and Me Million Metres Swimming Carnival. With the cheering of the Brisbane office behind her, team member Devica Dhamardi represented AI in the 50m corporate race, and as the only female swimmer, she powered through the pool with a fantastic swim. Olympic medallist and Order of Australia recipient, Duncan Armstrong, volunteered his time and expertise in order to raise awareness of the debilitating disease. More than $16,000 was raised on the night which will directly contribute towards employing more people to assist those living with Motor Neurone Disease.
